DETOX TIPS

hgrr1Whether you’ve started off 2018 with a list of resolutions, make the first one all about taking care of yourself.  After we have self-love the rest will fall into place.  Show your body some love with a simple natural cleanse.

A cleanse any time of the year, especially after periods of indulging such as the Holdiays or a vacation, can be super beneficial for your whole self, inside and out!

As part of a 4 Week Yoga and Wellness Series that I am running at Lululemon Athletica Oakville, we discussed how to cleanse holistically and for those of you that were wondering what we chatted about in the seminar, see below for a short break down…

WHY DETOX:

~Our body takes in toxins through foods, environment pollution, beauty products, stress

~Cleanse the liver which is responsible for hundreds (at least 500) of bodily functions (including processing nutrients, building proteins, hormone productions, and removing toxins)

~Skin is our largest organ so toxins enter into our bloodstream and need to be filitered through the liver

~Body will work more efficiently and effectively
