Stress Management Tips

bvq1For Week 2 of my 4 Week Yoga and Wellness Series at Lululemon Athletica Oakville we discussed Stress Management.  Whether you have chronic stress (constant) or acute stress (occasionally) these tips will be extremely helpful in dealing with stress so you can feel like your happy self again.  Also, by keeping stress levels low and in check you will be healthier, have increased energy and productivity, sleep better, and increase your sex drive!

Signs of stress include headaches, insomnia, digestion issues, skin conditions, irritablity, low sex drive, lack of focus, depression, over eating/under eating and more!  Keep reading to find out how you can kick stress to the curb and help yourself cope…

~Food {green veggies, nuts, seeds}

~Supplements {Magnesium buffered with Calcium, Rescue Remedy, Natural Calm, Epsom Salts}

Vitamin B:

Repair and restore the adrenal and thyroid glands

~Food {legumes, leafy green veggies, eggs, meat, fish, whole grains}


Vitamin C:

~Sleep 7-8 hours and catnap (under 30) as often as you can

~Sex and cuddling to lower cortisol and increase feel good endorphins (seratonin and oxytocin)
