Statistics have shown that 1 in 5 children lack access to life-saving immunizations worldwide. Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a vaccine-preventable disease. The idea is this: Walgreens Flu Season 2013 will give allow their customers to receive flu shots. Each flu shot performed by Walgreens pharmacies, Duane Reade pharmacies, and health care locations with selected Walgreens will add up to the amount donated to the Shot at Life campaign.
